Back in April 2008, a man began his attempt to trademark SEO, his name was Jason Gambert. Today I learned, Gambert’s claim to register a trademark on the term “SEO” was formally blocked. It may come to a surprise to you that this trademark application was blocked only because of the help from a few individuals in the SEO industry.

Why not register the trademark to Rhea! Including a Creative Commons License, so the rest of us can still use it. So Douchebags like Jason Gambert can't do this all over again again!
