Stuffing the meta-keywords tag is black hat? Some of this stuff is spammy, but most of it hardly seems black hat. This post lacks any references to back it up, including even a link to even one of the terms of services of the search engines. By this definition of duplicate content, everyone who has a print version of their page is a blackhat.
Hi Kerimorgret,
Thanks for the feedback. You are correct, I should have separated the 14 methods in Black Hat and spamming categories to make it clearer for the reader.
BTW, the duplicate content is not blackhat but spamming. My intension towards this article was many times we assume that some elements we are doing is correct but little carelessness will take you into spamming. I was not fully focused on Black Hat.
Duplicate content doesn't count as spamming.
Let's add 15. Submitting to 49 Web Directories. What is this? Those wearing hats would be insulted by your accusations.
winwinmantra that's what I was trying to tell you -- that many things listed as "black hat" are just spamming, the title to the article is misleading, there's nothing new in the article, and nothing external to back anything up.
