We've just rolled out several changes to Sphinn, some of which make it easier to share stories and comments on social networks, some of which will help us keep spam off the site ... and more. Feedback and questions are welcome below!

Is there a reason that Member badges have been removed?

Also, I tested the subscribe button (not sure what that does?) but the unsubscribe link does not work afterwards...

ViperChill, the membership area has been discontinued -- the blog post explains more. That's why the badges went away (and why you'll be getting a refund soon!).

This all seems like good progress. It might be an idea to flag where a moderator has promoted an article though, for transparency.

The thing that most annoys me with the Sphinn site is the way that when it asks you to log in it does not return you to what you were trying to do. So I if you see an article I want to Sphinn, and I log in, it should return you to the submit page. This is still an issue in v2.1 unfortunately.

Could someone have a look at fixing this? Look at how Digg does this for a good example.

I'm getting persistent SQL errors when clicking "My Network" at present.
