It sounds like a great bridge between brick and mortar and the social space. I've been thinking about trying it, has anyone gotten any deals from FourSquare yet?
Paul - what do you mean by deals? I've gotten happy hour prices anytime at CK's in Ahwatukee being the mayor and had a discount while in NYC because I checked in on Foursquare.
There are a few places I've seen in Az that have deals but hoping for more as time goes on :)
Do you think Foursquare will ever take of in smaller, rural communities? I'm aware of the benefits and marketing genius of it in large urban centres, but in smaller communities, such as my own, Foursquare doesn't even seem to be on the radar for businesses.
CIK, well at least you can dominate your smaller local market by getting mayorship all over...that or getting your clients started on it.
