The new age of digital and social media is upon us, and apparently, already dying in some areas. New data shows consumers are rebelling against all the “noise.”

I don't think the trust is broken yet because it is still a new tool but overtime it will get incredibly abused (unfortunately) and the trust factor will diminish. I'm sure at that point there will be a whole new way to communicate online that will take it's place.
