Pushed Dave's "guide to detect over optimization" to the homepage. It's a great resource packed with analysis and references every SEO should bookmark.
When you read and decipher that many documents regarding IR, you just have to know what you're talking about. WOW! Check out the list, this lives up to the title of: Web Spam: The Definitive Guide
lol.... thanks guyss, U know me, a sucker for a good patent/paper. I really didn't know how to make a post out of it all as I didn't want to sound like I was helping spammers out - it is just a damned interesteding topic to me. It is certainly one of the holy grails of the IR world, a never ending battle. Ultimately it also shows that there are a few signals that would need to be satisfied to get tagged as a spammer (re-indexation or dampening). Hopefully folks have some boundaries to understand and get an interest in IR...
As for the list, lol... once more, just the addiction going on there Edward. There are soooo many more. It was a long journey digging through it all. Thanks for the kind words as always gents!
This is a fantastic resource for every SEO, and we're pumped that Dave posted it on our site.
