Comprehensive, in depth review of the new Google UI from Danny Sullivan. From the story at Search Engine Land: "After months of testing, Google is releasing a new look-and-feel for its search results today, a three column design that provides a permanent menu of search options and tools to help searchers refine their queries. Google also gains a freshly-updated logo along the way."

I'd like to meet it but it doesn't show up. Am I the only one who still can't see it?

This was an extremely comprehensive guide to the new changes so I moved it to the home page here hoping more will see it. It was on its way to hot anyway...

Very detailed guide to new Google UI, thank you. Has this just made SEO a lot more complicated with multiple SERP pages (blog search, video, news, images) to rank in, or is the new UI just refined navigation, as most of these options were always available in the top navigation from before.

OK, I can see it now, but I'm not sure whether I'm happy. It's a huge change. That's certain.

The new google is great! The search options column is a useful upgrade. Looks like the other search engines are going to be scrambling again to follow Google.
