IAC Search & Media, parent of Ask.com, has relaunched Teoma, a search engine they bought in 2001 and closed in 2006. An Ask.com spokesman said "We re-launched Teoma.com... to provide a simplified interface for everyday keyword web search...".

Why?
Damn good question... the official answer is that "question" queries will be done on ask.com and keyword queries will be done on Teoma (and decisions will be made on bing?). I'm looking forward to seeing how they try to get that message out to the general public (but fear there is more AdWords Arbitrage in here somewhere).
