Since I receive many questions about this topic, I thought it would be fun to share a candid insider’s look at the reality of being an A-list blogger. These are my personal observations, so I’m not saying they’re true of other high-traffic bloggers, but it wouldn’t surprise me if some of these patterns held up. (Steve’s article is not new but well worth reading if you’ve missed it)

I gotta say that one of the biggest ways that I knew I’d "made it" in my niche was as Steve says people start pressuring you to post. The reality is they can read everything I’ve done in a few days and they want more! I can’t even imagine though how much more demanding they must be of him.
