Parents of the 13-year old teenager who committed suicide partially blame MySpace for the tragedy. But it’s equally important for everyone, particularly those in the marketing space, to be socially responsible online and realize that there is a still a human being on the other end.

Don’t get me wrong, I really like to see mean people get what’s coming to them. But has it occurred to anyone else that these online vigilantes harassing the woman are doing the exact same thing that essentially caused that poor girl to end her life? When do you take the stick of morality and ethics and draw the line?
