One thing that stands out in this article is how PR is still a valueable metric in the paid link world. While as far as ranking is concerned PR seems to be pretty pointless. You would think that if Google wanted to muck up link buyers and sellers they would just get rid of the useless metric.
@Joe, it may be premature to sing the swan song for TBPR, but, going by previous updates, it was scheduled to be updated at the end of July and hasn't been (yet).
RIP = TBPR?
