Sadly, only one of those quotes is from 2010, and that one is from May. The rest of the comments are all from 2009. This could be more informative if more recent information was used.
kerimorgret, that's the point. I used the new Google Caffeine to search for the information.The quotes were pulled from Google's top 10 results for "using google caffeine for seo". You can draw your own conclusions as to the power of Google Caffeine.
Thanks for the useful insight! This article also has some great advice to utuilize Google Caffeine for internet marketing
@jzlau, that's the funniest explanation I've read on caffeine:
WOW.... what can I say? Gotta luv the tidbit Sebs found, but I also thought to comment on the plethora of names quoted and how little they seem to know. Of the bunch, I'd say that Aaron was about the closest. This is an INFRASTRUCTURE change, 'mkay? This is about having more power under the hood to do more processing. If you've been around long enough, think 'Big Daddy'.
People talking about it doing this or that to the ranking/scoring algorithms are by and large talking outta their hats. If you want to 'get it' think about new power under the hood for things like;
Implicit/Explicit user feeback (personalization)
More comprehensive spam filters
Google Social (social graph, Realtime Seearch, Social Search, Google ME)
Better semtantic analysis (Aaron does mention that)
Pubsubhubub
Salmon protocol
RDFa/Microformats
On and on and on..... getting the idea here? I would go on for hours, but already wrote about this;
Be sure to see Bill Slawski's comments as well at te bottom.
It all, once more, makes the case that SEOs really need to learn more about search engines. Yes, there are inevitable algo changes along the way, but that's not what Caffiene was really about. Yet another SEO myth permiates.
