The idea of Wordpress being simple is similar to the idea of Microsoft Windows being stable
This went hot? No offense, but where's the meat?
I think I need to have a lie down because I seem to have missed the point of this post completely.
Wordpress is free, easy to use and popular? Great - is there an article on whether I should be using Google too? We can't be too far from a 'Water: 10 reasons you should be drinking it' post going hot.
1. There's lot of it. 2. You need it to live. 3. It works brilliantly with human physiology. 4. Helps you pee. 5. It's completely inert - no messy explosions. 6. Mr Perrier needs to put his kids through college. 7. A healthy alternative to methylated spirit. 8. Most people are composed of around two-thirds H2O - if you're not then you could be missing out. 9. Global warming is likely to increase supplies. 10. Makes water pistols slightly more fun.
webconnoisseur, I agree.
A much better article, it appears in the comments of this sphinn article, is
http://www.jhsiess.com/2007/09/19/thursday-thirteen-30/
which gives 13 reasons, not just three.
Agreed scott that is a better article, that being said it leaves something to be desired too. There is so much wrote out there about Wordpress that I guess I'm going to need something truly stunning, creative, or labour intensive to be impressed.
With mention of the Thirteen Reasons article, I was surprised that none of you even bothered to submit it. You can complain about this article but not sphinn that one? lol Its listed below
http://sphinn.com/story/15973
I've had far better articles that have NOT gone hot...geez
first off though, I can think of at least 25 reasons why you SHOULD use Wordpress, and that's just off the top of my head.
@ffnstuff: as I said, the 13 reasons one was only slightly less underwhelming than the original one thus I didn't sphinn it.
26 reasons....you heard it here first, im coming up with 26 reasons.
effen ay
long live drupal!
