I often see a lot great submissions hung up in limbo as a result of being pushed to the 2nd page, 3rd page, etc. There are two ways to combat this.

1)Use the sorting methods above the first post on http://sphinn.com/upcoming/

2)Use the page jumper below the last post of http://sphinn.com/upcoming/

Definitely a sorter, although I really love even more sorting options if I could have them! (what kinda I dunno, you guys are creative just give me something cool to click on maybe most viewed?)
