Gino reached out to a number of prominent affiliates to get their views on Google Instant immediately after it was introduced by Google. Some of the guys respnding I know make a fair chunk of change from affiliate marketing and driving traffic through PPC, not just organic search which in some ways makes this an interesting perspective.

I didn't detect anyone panicing over this pre-Christmas

Agreed Andy & promoted to the frontpage. Good discussion starter on how this change can impact the short, mid and long tail queries.

Google is crushing affs again. As usual they are steering users. Mostly, it is toward big brands like amazon. There are now dramatic drops in traffic for small time affs - the end is near.

Re "crushing affs": we can't say for sure yet. Time will only show... I'll keep my hand on the pulse, and follow up with another post some time down the road (when affiliate have some "before" and "after" data).
