I call that suicide in installments. Without all the services they shut down, I can use my Yahoo-ID for, hmmm, what? [long pause] Oh yeah, pipes and site explorer, as long as those don't cease to exist. Depressing.
Microsoft is making a big mistake. The number of major web assets is limited, and relatively small given the size and reach of the web. Bing is so far behind Google. All they're doing is chipping away at Google's competition, exposing Google further and increasing the Google monopoly.
@benacheson isn't this about Yahoo not Microsoft?
