Looks like Google is preventing bloggers from determining whether a link from a comment should be followed or not.
Is this the death of Dofollow on Blogspot, or something that will signal a new exodus of people moving to Wordpress.

Maybe it will lead to the death of blogspot.  That wouldn't be such a bad thing would it?

Google has a saboteur in the blogger team. That's not the first insanity WRT comments and do-nofollow. If you blog at blogger.com then flee now.

a lot of speculation but a very interesting read. i've been putting off moving the company blog from blogger (don't start on me...it was on there before i started!!!) to wordpress simply because i've been too busy. this new "feature" may just get me going quicker now.

Not quite correct. You can use some HTML tags, such as ,
in the body of the comment. At least that is what I see in the comment
window of my Blogger.com blog.

I used to like Blogspot. I used to frown on Blogspot's detractors.
