Thanks for the great update from PubCon. It is hard to believe that WiFi is not a major part of the event. Surely the PubCon organizers must understand the value of giving their audience instant access to their blogs. In such an increasingly competitive market you would think that WiFi would be a priority over even food or drinks.It is good to hear someone say that pageviews only have value in relation to CPM ads. Honestly, if there is not some other direct benefit correlation to pageviews then it is a no brainer that CPM is the only winner. Pageviews are one of those things that has been a feel good thing for a long time, but it is time to really evaluate its purpose. Hopefully it means that people are reading your material and getting lots of value so they will come back again and again. That was something I’m not sure was mentioned.Keep up the great work. Some of the big corporate companies still think page views is key to their success. i used to work in one who tracked their SEO performance on page views only.
