Free gifts are always a nice touch, but thats all they are (unless youre involved in the international weapons trade of course). Theyre probably downgrading the gifts as they start to realise that people will keep using AdSense whether they send them a nice present at the end of the year or not.A company I used to work for spent thousands each year on customer gifts; for customers who would then remind them at every opportunity that it was ultimately their money that was funding it all anyway. More favourable rates or free novelty junk? Tough call...
Yeah? well tell that to the people who relied on the google gift to give a xmas present to their family.. :P Just kiddin of course...
@ Eloi I know bosses of large companies that did that.. ! Some peeps are tight you know!

Hey what do you guys mean cheap? Its a gift for a very special time of year be grateful or pass it on to someone who cant afford this GIFT > that will be grateful for this gift.DavidMe Me Me Grrrrrrr
The gift 2 years ago with all the USB stuff was cool, I used it until most of it broke from over use. Then last year we get that silly digital picture frame thats still in the Google box. At least my wife could use the 2GB card in her camera which is more than I can say for that picture frame which is still USELESS.
Heh. A previous boss of mine, owner of a multi-million manufacturing business, used to take the work Christmas tree home for his family on Christmas Eve. He had 2 young kids for whom Christmas didnt start until daddy brought home a second-hand tree from his workplace the day before Christmas.
