It’s weird but I found myself in disagreement with the article. It may be because I didn’t start out as a perfectionist. I had perfectionist employers and bosses, who belittled me if my work wasn’t perfect. I learned to be anal and, when combined with a stubborn personality and overachiever mentality, has made me a complete and total basket case. However, had I not risked my sanity, love life, family life, and the loss of most of my non-Internet friends, I’d not be the respected success I am today. Maybe the article has merit after all :)
