Just noticed that Jennifer Laycock has finally opened Bento Yum’s doors to Google after her experiment of launching a business online and preventing search engines from indexing it. When did this happen?

"Did something happen to prompt opening the doors to search engines?"I’m just reading the series, and in the first article, it says:"the work that I do on this site in the early months will lay the foundation for solid search engine rankings down the road ... We’ll build a sustainable business that can one day count on the search engines to supplement (but not fully supply) our sales"So it seems to me it was planned from the beginning.

Yeah, I know she was eventually going to let them in, but I just wondered if something prompted it, if the experiment is officially over and if she’s going to write up a concluding chapter. I think she’s in Vegas right now so hopefully she’ll see this when she returns or I’ll email her.
