JC Penny and now Forbes...AGAIN! I personally feel Google is outing a few big dogs to validate they actually are trying to fight SPAM more effectively and serve as a warning to small guys that no one is safe. To bad their alog cant handle this on its own.

Was it not the NYT that outed JC Penny and then Google had to react? If not, then sorry, but if so I think it looks pretty bad for Google. There are way too many websites getting away with this.

Only today, just seen a website that apparently "turnsover £1.2m per year". While I doubt that I had a quick look at their site to check how they have suddenly come from nowehere in terms of rankings and found that in Oct last year they 'somehow' generated 5,000 extra links when an average month previously would have been less than 400....*grinds my gears*
