From Danny Sullivan at Search Engine Land, a clearinghouse list of sites affected by the latest algorithm change at Google (the 'Farmer' update) that rolled out earlier this week and was designed to weed out shallow and low-quality content from its top search results. I'm not into writing articles that often, but it is interesting to see how many top article directories took a hit.

In some sites that I actively monitor, places like Amazon and eBay have seen boosts.  For some search terms Google's main web search is sadly starting to look more like product search pages.

I'm glad directories took a hit...and especially Ezinearticles, aka, the haven of spun content.
