Funny, I stopped reading Pb a while ago because it seemed he was always talking about Adsense. Great blog and all, but the adsense talk is a turnoff. Speaking of which, it's my humble opinion, that advertising cuts your pagerank: http://seoroi.com/algorithms/advertising-pagerank/
Ineresting opinion you have there Gab.. But there's nothing on that link you gave..
This was a good article. However, most of these points, were pretty obvious. A good article, well written and informative nonetheless.
I really look forward to the second installment about why you shouldn't use adsense, and I hope you post it Maki.
Gab's pagerank has been so destroyed the article no longer exists! :)

Truth be told Google's having trouble with my site and SMM/client work/school is preventing me getting into webmaster tools and dealing with it.
That said, the link works fine. I think I posted the link before the article was live though, which might be why nothing came up, Emma.
Ad cents is okay
Google constantly increases their share of the revenue pie while screwing publisher earnings to pennies....
Affiliate dollars are the shizzle!!!!!!!
Gab
Youre quite wrong that ads effect Page Rank....
PageRank is a score Google assigns to the value of the hyperlinks pointing to your site.
Contextual Ad links do not pass PageRank...this has been debated and put to rest by the best in the industry.
The SEO field needs to become a degreed profession to stop the spread of such.....misinformation.....
I'm aware that ads don't directly pass PageRank. Read the article. "Misinformation..."
