The LinkedIn blog reports that the business social networking service has reached 100 million users.  Good infographic visualization.  Any takers for when they'll reach 200 mil?

Anybody who knows the Internet knows that number is complete hogwash. I would be willing to bet that more than half of that is spammers. There are only 310 milion people in the us and only 240 million are on the Internet.  That would mean if you were to randomly ask a 100 people 32 of them would be on Linkedin.  There is no way in the world that number is acurate.  I don't even think that 32% of people on sphinn are using linkedin. Also I would be shocked if very many people even log into their linkedin account more than a few times a year. I don't

@ogletree they sayd 44 million from the US. The rest were worldwide. Does that make any more sense?

About 300 million people use google each day. So if they are saying that 1/3rd of them are all on LinkedIn, then that cannot be accurate.

Opps thanks Jill.  It does not change much.  I still think most of them are fake or not used.
