Haha. Yup, I am sad to say that I do. I was just thinking about how dorky I am when I wake up and run to my computer in response to a dream I had only to be disappointed (or relieved) that the dream was not true.
Wow....this is really weird (or maybe I am). Last night I dreamed that I was hired as the SEO for JuiceBox. You know, those little boxes of juice for kids. They also hired the former SEO for CapriSun (I dont know if they even have an SEO), and we were supposed to be some kind of cracker jack team. Hmmm...perhaps finding a life is in order.
Ahhh thank god I am not going crazy!
Dr. you are crazy........you know, like crazy good!
And its now hot! I love doing that :). (It is a great post though - wouldnt have sphunn otherwise. But i dont dream. i stay up instead. like now, at 5:30 am!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Yeah, I definitely dream of SEO. Sad but true.
seofactor, that sounds like the best dream ever!I must admit Ive been dreaming (of a white christmas!) of SEO more and more as I get into the industry.
Look, I stepped into the SEO realm thinking I could finally gain a little bit of normalcy in my life. Now all I find are validations for my insanity! Gee thanks alot.
I dream about SEO or Marketing almsot every night - the most recent nightmare was when I "dreamt" i was hired to seo for the people at adobe and they only wanted FLASH on their websites - aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhOn the other hand - some of my best ideas come in the middle of the night - I keep a notebook on my nightstand to write stuff down so I dont forget ;) ::insert get a life comment here::
Haha, more about site architecture than SEO. I havent had those types of dreams since my "Tetris phase", though.
always....but sometimes I get some killer ideas from the dreams.
i dream about it. a good portion of them are just the typical everyday client questions, "why am i not number 1." etc...i do get some where ive done an awesome job, their traffic is crazy high, my clients are making millions, and all of a sudden im some huge hero. then i wake up :)
I dream about servers going down, affiliate campaigns I work on and client adwords campaigns. I still dont know if it is a sign of working too hard or being ultra dedicated. :)
I cant say I dream every night, but computers somehow make it to my dreams about once a month. Either something really bad happens to my personal computer or work. And the ultimate nightmare would be when a client vanishes from Google.
I love SEO, but I cant remember ever dreaming about it. My dreams are usually about the latest woman or about my having the ability to fly. Actually, last week I had a dream that I was travelling on a bus with a bunch of people Id never met. This bus could drive straight up the sides of mountains. We were somewhere in South America and had driven up to the edge of a volcanic crater covered with jungle...and then I got up and started brushing my teeth in the middle of the aisle, refusing to let anyone pass. Then I woke up. Dreams are weird.
Everyone Thanks for sharing your stories .... some of them had me laughing all morning.
I have done i had a night mare recently where someone had wiped the big white bord we use to track all our progress. My wierdest dream was me discussing BTs iso 9001 project mangement with my boss in a populous land scape a few years back
