Well, personally, I don't have anything against Google so far. However, I also don't like when companies are in monopoly position, so I welcome every move a competition makes.

I think many people tend to underestimate the value and importance of Bing Local. MSN is a huge site that drives traffic to Bing, and they both have a very large pre-installed userbase. It's not to be ignored. And yes, any improvements for local businesses are very welcome.
