Thanks for putting up my post Todd. I just wanted to mention that this is 101-level stuff so anyone who has been in the affiliate game for more than a few months probably already knows everything they will read. But if you have just started building affiliate sites, or have a blog and just throw up the occasional affiliate ad it should be a good read. By the way, notice how Danny and team are sending all of their affiliate links (right sidebar) through /ads/adclick.php ? Although they have the added benefits discussed in the blog post on SEMPortland, I would guess that they are doing it mostly for tracking purposes.

I tried the Steve Dawson script - ran fine - but then moved servers and for some reason I couldn’t get the code to run any more. Not a serious affiliate - just dabbling - but those direct links look ugly, and am still struggling with them.
