I suspect we’ll see lots of this in 2008. National brands are going to be increasingly find local retailers with high rankings for their brands/products/services. Gotta be a more proactive way to go brand awareness than sending C&D letters.

Thanks for bringing this up. It is something that is happening not only on national brands but other companies with good position on the SERPs. The comments on that post give a really good solution and suggestions to fix the problem or at least get something good out of it.
