The wonderful Brian Clark from Copyblogger again with a brilliant post on why the number three is so important structurally when writing engaging content.

That is so important.  It even works for the structure of a good post, speech or article.  Tell them what you're going to tell them about, tell them about it, then tell them what you've told them.  If you want to make an impact with your message, that's the way to do it.

It's what my high school teachers referred to as a "hamburger essay." The introduction and conclusion are the bun, and the meat is in the middle.
