Yeah, thats what I thought, however only the sphinned articles appeared in Google SERPs in such a short time. My other 2 articles have appeared only after about 12 hours.I just wanted to make some of the things clear, I am not trying to imply that the action of sphinning it initiates some secret code that makes Googlebot crawl the article. Of course that it is a matter of Google considering Sphinn to be an authority site and crawling it more frequently. That said, I have never seen this happen to my sites that were linked from other blogs, Technorati, Digg, Stumbleupon or any other service. It never happened to me with old, established domains, let alone the brand new ones. That is why i found it so surprising...Thanks for discussing this... I thought it was interesting.

Fast indexing by Google is not new and has nothing to do with Sphinn specifically. Most of my postings at my own blog in Danish, that is not ever submitted to Sphinn, gets indexed within 5-10 minutes. The same thing is true for a great number of the clients I work for.

well, as i said, I have never seen it with any of my sites. It seems like you get linked from great authority sites, so Kudos to you. I am still amazed with the 1 minute indexing of my brand-new-absolutely-no-authority blog...

hmmm, interesting, only 8 days ago there was a story on sphinn about the fact that Google indexes pages in a matter of minutes, and that story got 28 sphinns - meaning it wasn’t so obvious last week... suddenly the story about the fact that it is only a link from Sphinn that can cause this effect is not interesting and obvious ?
