That was a good read, though I do not completely agree with the point about plain English. While it is definitely important not to alienate readers whose primary language is not the same as yours, you don't want to over-simplify your style of writing to accomplish this. An engaging writing style is a key advantage in making your blog stand out from the crowd.

This post doesn't make sense. First he says to only write in English (like that's SEO 2.0?), then he talks about using non-english social media sites. Also, English is not the only language on the Internet. Let's not forget the biggest blogging language is Japanese, not English, and Chinese is quickly gaining internet users.
