Fantastic, Stephan. Im going to have to get her on a panel :) Its a really great story on so many levels. Not only that SEO can be accessible, but that its not all blog spammers, either :)
Fantastic! Congratulations Chloe - you go girl! Stephen I bet you are the picture of proud papahood. Does this jaded ole heart good to see a Good Kid doing Good stuff for a change. :) Danny - I agree - shed be great. Perhaps you and Chloe and Stephen can work something out.
Thanks guys for the kudos! Im indeed a very proud papa! And its been all her -- Ive only given her a few hours of guidance and shes done the rest. Danny, Chloe would love to be on a panel!
Seriously... I think I may have kids just so they can now help me blog. ;-) When will your daughter come to SMX to give presentations on AdSense?
Thats very cool. And very inspiring, for those of us who havent yet made the jump to working for ourselves.
Stephen, Ive admired your work for quite some time and what always impresses me is how well-researched and accessible your recommendations are. And now to see your daughter doing so well with her own blog means the proof really is in the pudding. Kudos!
Truly nice story. Barry Schwartz on parenting... "Seriously... I think I may have kids just so they can now help me blog." This needs to be a quote somewhere.
Ha, that might come back to haunt me. :)
Excellent news. I know an 11 year old CSS lover who has been doing something similar to fund a toy budget (and Heifer International, and reluctantly, a college fund). I swear I only help a little bit.
I love to see a fresh, young face doing SEO as an extra-curricular activity ;-)
An awesome story. Ive tried to get my kids to do something similar but to no avail. They dont have the same drive and ambition but would rather waste precious amounts of time on MySpace.
