Let me paint the picture for you. You spent the last 8 hours perfecting a killer linkbait. You're proud of your work. You think it's going to do well on Digg, it collects some votes...a few hour later, you receive an email from someone claiming that he'll get your account deleted and your article removed from Digg if you don't pay him $1000...

I'm floored, but not surprised. Has anyone had any success with beating the blackmail, and if so, what did they do? Great find Maki!

Wherever there's a user powered community and it has a lot of traffic, there's bound to be people like this. Craigslist is also a good example. Thanks Maki. :)
