Google is important but they aren’t the only player out there. According to recent numbers, Microsoft’s Bing now generates 30% of all U.S.A. searches (half Yahoo – which is Bing-powered and half from the web site.)  It’s becoming more important that you be sure your site is optimized for Bing.  So what does Bing look for?  Here’s a cheat sheet you can use to optimize your site for Bing.

Would you happen to have Ranking Cheat Sheets for the other major search engines you focus on?

What engines do you submit to? Engines we hand submit to and optimize for: AltaVista, Google, HotBot, Yahoo! Web Pages, MSN, Lycos, Iwon, Fast/AllTheWeb, Direct Hit, LookSmart engine, AOL Web Sites, Overture/Excite, FindWhat, Netscape,, Open Directory, ICQSearch, AskJeeves and Jayde as well as hundreds of secondary engines.

Read the SEJ Comments. Many of the readers are quite honest about their feedback on the article. I find it hard to believe that the article was Tweeted 298 times and Liked 58 times so far. David Wallace, did you really find this article to be that good? Or was this a favor for someone?
