I am reveling in the New page algo love thing...thank you very much. lol (deviously rubbing hands)
Well it is NOT a new phenomenon and IS limited in scope. The examples used in this whole uproar is nearly laughable. Plain and simply though, temporal ranking signals started showing effects quite some time ago. I am simply shocked that it is news at all. Poor folks must be missing MC or something else to get excited about.... grumble mumble...I have now posted my own retort to this silliness ..... much ado about nothing IMO. Either that or I am WAAAAYYY ahead of my time, which is most certainly unlikely :0)
A little touchy today I see. lol...sheeesh
hee hee..... naw, I was steaming a little when I saw it on Mashable yesterday..but figured HEY, its only Mash, WTF do they know? Then is started spreading to day and I cant control myself....See retort; http://sphinn.com/story.php?id=21024
Well i personally think this was Google OSs linkbait and we all took it :)http://sphinn.com/story/21122
I agree gypsy very old news and very poor examples.
Hi Jan..... agreed. Pretty freaky for such BIG NEWS.... too many PageRank addicts out there.
Its not Google is scaring people, it’s the so called SEOs
This is a poor story. To make a statement like that based on a few examples that could be affected by a variety of variables unrelated to how new the content is, is ridiculous.
