Dan Zarrella has created a great social media tool at VOTRS.com that allows you make a short url with all the top social communities included, that you can send to a friend or colleague and influence the actions you desire.

thanks for reviewing votrs Brent, I'm working on an optional login system where you can use your avatar and a custom background as well as have some tracking of your stories. I'd love to hear people's other ideas.

An idea: multiple domains for the shortened URL... Votrs.com could show up on a referring watch list when the service gains momentum and takes off. 2prong.com (an e-mail spam prevention / temporary e-mail address service) cycles through domain names to avoid them getting watched or blocked by sites.
