Great article - really thought provoking. That sensory tunnel vision is why it’s so important to have your marketing and advertising as granular as possible - so you can break through to get the attention of those people that are looking for those products. Sphunn!

Fantastic article.  I was musing over this a few weeks ago and I came to the conclusion that perhaps our generation are not ready for multi tasking and that future generations would be more suited to it.  I guess this might be right in some ways, perhaps we and the immediate preceeding generations are not quite ready.  I presumed that humans had never been ready but your article has made me think again.  Perhaps the past few centuries, of ’conformaty’ and ’stick to your task’ mentality have set the natural progression of the human race back. I still hold true to my initial catalyst for these thinkings which was: "my lord the world has gone bonkers", as a colleague of mine spouted lyrical about working himself into an early retirement by simply working all the hours God sends for the next 20 years. I pray that he doesn’t accidentally step out in front of a bus in 19, maybe whilst speaking on a mobile phone?...
