I dont think you need to start optimizing right now as the technology is pretty new...
one thing i dont get is if there is an embedded flash object in the page, and Google cand read the content of the flash file, does the text in the flash add relevancy to the page or just to itself ? since flash files are presented as independent results, my bet is that optimization of flash content will promote the .swf file, not the page it is placed on...
... again just another thing that can be gamed within the engines - I wouldnt expect much weight to be given to .swf files over HTML pages
I appreciate scottpolks view...cant get too excited yet, but I appreciate the advances that are being made. Worth watching.
Google has read Flash for a couple of years now.Where the hell have you people been?
PS. My wife used to work for Macromedia, the makers of flash, then she went a search company and they were one of the first to read flash, and they were aware of when Google could read flash. This is so old news.
Unless you have an authoritative page I doubt Google will bother taking the effort to mess with flash.
Google cant read all Flash and cant read all links contained within Flash. Here is another solution.
