Google moved the "cache" and "similar pages" links from the line with the URL to the line under the URL, pushing down more of the results and screen realestate for other listing.

I personally think this is a mistake and Google will revert it back, but this seems to be a global thing for now.

Thoughts on how this may impact traffic and referrals? Thoughts on how this may impact the use of the cache or similar pages links?

Possibly to make place for current and upcoming extra links? Standard you have cached & similar. But if you use Notebook you also have a Note This. Using Google Bookmarks? Now there's also a Save.

With Google going social, maybe a Share link is in the make. Or votes (we saw such links in the UK as a test for personal results, no?).

Here's an example of expanded action links

Personally, I don't like it. Why do they have to mess with what already works?

Just looks plain sloppy. Was much cleaner before and they haven't even removed the dash after the file size...

#2 is below the fold... If your not #1 then your traffic going to drop big time!  imho

Turns out your gut feeling was right, Barry...

Seems like the "cache" and "similar pages" are back in their original place again (at least that's the case here...)
