People have been pretty fired up since it was discovered that Network Solutions was pre-registering domains anytime someone used their domain search feature. Now a Network Solutions blogger explains the company’s position on the issue, but if the comments are any indication, people aren’t satisfied.

NetSol’s justification for what the majority of people consider domain front running is that they are protecting the domain for the customer. So does that mean if I use your search tool I’m automatically a customer?
