From Daniel Waisberg: "Google launched a paid version of Google Analytics that processes higher volumes of page views and provides additional support. The general feature set and user experience remain the fundamentally the same as the standard product. "

"Fundamentally the same product" except that they managed to offer less information through even more convoluted steps.

For exmple, they not only continue to strip parameters off of referring pages. NOW you can't even click on links to VISIT the referring pages.  You have to construct the links from separate text snippets on the page.  Grade on scale of A-2-F: TOTALLY STUPID AND USER-UNFRIENDLY.

For example, you can't just pick a search engine from a list and look at its queries.  NOW you have to "drill down" and click on obscure links and drop-down boxes in THREE separate navigational units and STILL not see a concise report.  Grade on scale of A-2-F: TOTALLY STUPID AND USER-UNFRIENDLY.

For example, once you've drilled down to whatever stopping point they put into your face, your "Sort Type" dropdown box gives you the choice of "DEFAULT".  Grade on scale of A-2-F: TOTALLY STUPID AND USER-UNFRIENDLY.

For example, in the SEO section you have to set up Webmaster Tools access.  Only if there is some glitch in the system it won't tell you what's wrong.  Grade on scale of A-2-F: TOTALLY STUPID AND USER-UNFRIENDLY.

For example, under SOCIAL > ENGAGEMENT you get two choices: "NOT ENGAGED" and "ENGAGED".  Drilling down under "ENGAGED" you have NO OPTION for defining social engagement actions.  Grade on scale of A-2-F: TOTALLY STUPID AND USER-UNFRIENDLY.

For example, under the SOCIAL > PAGES report you can compare your social sources and actions to a prior period but the pretty color coding from the previous version is no longer there.  No RED or GREEN.  Grade on scale of A-2-F: C+.

For example, on the dashboard overview, you can no longer click on the VISITS, VISITORS, etc. categories to look at bar charts.  You can still click on the graphs.  Grace on scale of A-2-F: D-.

Need I go on?  This is just the basic stuff.
