I really like how honest this article is. In reference to the polarizing effect a blog post can have, I think commenters have such strong responses because they can hide anonymously. None of these people actually think or would say out loud what they are writing. What I get out of this article is that you have to own it, whatever it is that you're writing. Obviously people are interested in what you have to say, so they come back enough to formulate strong opinions. But I did think it was ironic to see you ask someone not to comment on your blog given the subject matter.
