A new kind of awards have been introduced into the search marketing industry. They’re called The SEMMYS. Rather than being about blogs or web sites, Matt McGee and friends wanted to honor blog posts instead.

There are 15 categories of posts and articles, with nominees in each one.

(Note: The blog post goes to my announcement of it. I searched for ones here already and on Matt's site first. My post has several links to the SEMMYS for more info.)

Update:  Formal announcement from SEMMYS will be next week, I'm told.  They're still polishing the windows on the place.
