Love the idea - How many blog posts and articles do you think the SEM industry produces in a given week? Hundreds? What about a month? A full year? Whatever the answers are, the numbers must be pretty staggering. How on earth do you even try to hand out awards for great content when there’s so much content to track?

Hey, how about an award for results with real-world clients for whom SEO/SEM generated a positive cash flow?

As I mentioned to Matt already, now the goal for next year is to do the link collecting in a more democratic way we all can participate in. Something similar to a Sphinn badge for each blog post.
