Pointless to waste time on "testing" these, I would think, since Googles likely detecting and banning these methods now if they havent already.
What would seem like a better list are methods of hiding text that are legal in Googles eyes.
I still think its fun to read this. I wasnt aware of a couple in there... not that Ill try them, but its a little bit of a historical SEO lesson for the non-old-school SEOs out there ;)

What about those technique with "skip navigation" "skip to main content" invisible for the user links on top of the page and invisible h1 header under the image logo, like for exmaple on the merix.com.pl website mentioned in the best SEO designs article?
