Can-o-worms there... it's like going back to 95 again while still moving forward. I remembered when I first started SEO my friends and family would say "I thought the search engines just showed the pages that got the most clicks" and I would say "Well that would create a big-ass self-fulfilling prophecy wouldn't it? Not to mention how easy that would be to game with the use of proxy servers and click-scripts."
