My new blog, Anywired, reached 1,100 subscribers five days after its launch on Thursday. This post contains everything I’ve learned about starting a second blog while using your first blog, connections and profile as a platform to launch it from. If you take only one thing away from this post, let it be this point: your first blog is always the hardest. It only gets easier after that.

Thanks for sphinning that DoshDosh. The article doesn’t have any great secrets, just good common sense and practical approaches to growing your subscriber base.

Yet is always to read strong content on how the top performers achieve their success.with Skellie’s new blog doing so well in just a few days, it was worth discussing how it was achieved, even if it was just to confirm the same trusted practices.

It certainly helps having her original site to link to it ;)

Disappointing that there was no real concentration on the choice of niche compared to where Skellie already is a contributor, and how large and popular that niche is and their high use of feed readers.I think the launch of FreelanceSwitch was the best leverage I have seen used for a new blog, as the existing blogs owned by the writers weren’t huge properties.
