Googles been playing around a lot with its Maps SERPs and integration of Gmaps into universal SERPs (did that sound jargony or what?!). The latest, which I saw today, was 10 maps results, integrated both at the top and in the middle of the SERPs. The maps results were ordered by # of reviews, from what I could tell.
Googles Map SERPs have also integrated EarthBooker (booking site based on Google Earth) for thousands of hotels, as well as Panoramio (Googles flickr) and more (http://seoroi.com/seo-roi-quality/google-maps-serps-earthbooker-pictures-panoramio-reviews/).
I dont know if you guys are paying attention, but who here is making use of these new features? Whos set up a program to get their satisfied customers punching reviews into Google Maps and other review sites (I included a list of places from which Google pulls its reviews in that post, incidentally)? Do you think the integration into universal improves the SERPs?
On a related note, the search I saw the new universal SERPs with 10 maps results was banff tours.
