Well it seems on of the Big 3 decided to take a stab at playing in the social spaces. I am going to go play with it... cya!!

Search Engine Land - Yahoo has sent word that they are testing integration of data from their Delicious social bookmarking site within the Yahoo search results pages. For some users, a search will now show whether a page listed in Yahoo results is also on Delicious and how it has been tagged. It brings back memories of Yahoo My Web integration and before that, how the Yahoo Directory used to work. More below.

Danny, I got 5 or 6 queries to see this Saturday night. After reading your entry, I checked again and got no del.icio.us results integrated in the results presently. So it’s apparently not a US versus UK thing. It’ll be interesting to see whether is appears again or whether it was just a signal to say Yahoo! was using del.icio.us for relevancy now.

This would be just like Yahoo to drop this idea after announcing it. They’re losing market share everyday and just laid a bunch of people off, and here’s a tremendous opportunity to leverage people toward one of their services, and of course they won’t do it. We’ll see if they eventually integrate it. I hope they do.

Hi, our web search mashup service FuzzFind Web Search at http://www.fuzzfind.com incorporates del.icio.us results not just with Yahoo, but also Google and Windows Live. The results are consolidated and presented in a clean format to help you find the most relevant results. We also have a feature where you can adjust the weights for each of the search sources on-the-fly using sliders. Hope you can try it out, you may get a nice surprise at the results. Please do send us feedback so that we can further improve the service. Thanks.

Google wouldn’t have a problem about how to value YDir, if they still valued links on the traffic they might/do pass, rather than "votes".
